Privacy Policy

Installer Report ("we") operates installer.report. We collect minimal data needed to run the Site and deliver the Weekly Brief. We do not sell personal information.

What we collect

• Email and optional role when you subscribe to the Weekly Brief
• Name, email, and message fields from contact, advertise, news, signal, and shop forms
• Standard server logs (IP, user agent) from our hosting provider
• Aggregated usage analytics (pages viewed, approximate location, device type) via Google Analytics / Tag Manager and Microsoft Clarity when those tools are enabled

How we use it

To send the newsletter, respond to inquiries, review shop listings and tips, improve the Site, measure traffic, and prevent spam/abuse.

Processors

Form submissions may be delivered through FormSubmit.co (or Formspree if configured) so we can receive mail on static hosting. Hostinger provides hosting. Analytics may be processed by Google (Analytics / Tag Manager) and Microsoft (Clarity). Optional advertising measurement may use Meta Pixel when configured. Do not submit secrets or payment card data through these forms.

Cookies & analytics

We use first-party and third-party cookies / local storage for theme preference, essential hosting, and site analytics (Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity). Meta Pixel may set cookies when advertising measurement is enabled. Essential hosting cookies may also apply. You can block cookies in your browser; some Site features may still work.

Retention

Subscriber and inquiry records are kept as long as needed for the purpose collected, then deleted or anonymized on request where feasible.
